Verifi Terms of Service

1. "User" refers to any person who downloads, installs, or uses the App.
2. "Content" refers to any text, images, video, audio, or other media available through the App.

You agree not to:

1. Use the App for any unlawful or fraudulent purposes.
2. Copy, modify, adapt, or create derivative works of the App or its Content.
3. Interfere with, disrupt, or overload the App or its underlying infrastructure.
4. Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or any associated systems or networks.

All rights, title, and interest in and to Verifi, including its design, interface, functionalities, and any materials provided directly by the app (such as fact-checking reports, summaries, scores, and other app-generated content), are the exclusive property of the Developer and its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use Verifi for your personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

Any prompts or queries you submit to Verifi, as well as the answers or fact-checking responses you receive, belong to you and may be used, shared, or published at your discretion (for example, on social media or other platforms). By using Verifi, you grant the Developer a limited license to process, display, and store such content solely for the purpose of providing the service.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising out of or in connection with the use of the app, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Verifi is a fact-checking platform designed to help you verify news, claims, and other findings. By submitting prompts or queries, you receive precise summaries, contextual information, sources, and other elements that help evaluate the reliability of the information. Our service empowers you with clear, actionable fact-checking responses, ensuring that you have access to accurate and trustworthy insights for informed decision-making.

Users aged 12+ and above are eligible to create accounts on Verifi. You are responsible for the security of your account and the accuracy of the information you provide.

By creating a Verifi account, you consent to receive occasional emails from us, including product updates, security notices, and promotional offers at the address you provide. You may stop these communications at any time by:

• Clicking "Unsubscribe" in the footer of any email, which will immediately remove you from non-essential mailings.
• Deleting your account within the Verifi app or by emailing hello@verififacts.org, after which you will no longer receive any messages from us.

We expect all users to use Verifi responsibly. Any form of misuse, including harassment, inappropriate content, or violation of others' rights, is strictly prohibited and will be handled appropriately.

You own the content you create on Verifi, but you grant us a license to use it for operating the service. Please ensure that your content does not infringe on others' rights.

We may change or discontinue any aspect of Verifi without prior notice. Our goal is to improve the service continuously, and we strive to minimize any inconvenience to you.

Either you or Verifi may terminate your account at any time. Upon termination, you will lose access to your account and any associated data.

Verifi is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for any indirect damages arising from your use of the service.

The developer does not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with these laws.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms. Your continued use of Verifi signifies acceptance of any changes.
